Patrington Haven Leisure Park has a stunning landscaped fishing lake which rates as one of Yorkshires top fishing venues. The fishing lake is maintained to the highest standard and its well stocked waters provides fantastic results with pleasure catches over 400lbs and match weights of 260lbs.

It’s great for the young and old with secure pegs offering a safe level fishing platform which is ideal for the beginner just learning the basics to the most experienced fisherman.
The fishing lake is stocked with a first class array of coarse fish including Roach, Bream, Tench and Carp - Just bait your hook to guarantee success. Tightlines!

There are lots of walkways, landscaped gardens and benches around the fishing lake so you can sit and relax listening to the peaceful sounds of the fishing lakes waterfall and fountains.

Booking The Fishing Lake
To use the fishing lake you will need an Owners/Visitors Fishing Day Ticket these are available to purchase at www.countryclubpatrington.co.uk. An Environment Agency Fishing Licence; 12 – 16 Junior, 17+ Senior, are available from local post offices or online.

A fishing day ticket is valid from dawn until dusk for the date specified and a copy of the booking must be available at all times when you are fishing. You also agree to comply with both the Park’s fishing rules and the Environment agency rules.

The following rules apply and must be adhered to:
1, All anglers must hold a valid Environment Agency Licence and produce it together with a valid owner/visitor pass, when required.
2, No children, under the age of 15, are permitted to fish the water alone; they must be accompanied by an experienced adult angler.
3, The general rules and regulations adopted by all recognised angling clubs apply to this water.
4, Do not feed the ducks.
5, All fish must be landed using a landing net, this means one per angler.
6, All Anglers must have their own landing net and disgorger – minimum requirement.
7, Anglers must reel in if you leave your peg.
8, Fishing is only allowed from the platforms provided.
10, Leave the peg clean of rubbish when finished angling - this includes cigarette ends.
11, Carp, when caught, must be unhooked on grass or carp mat.
12, You may only use barbless hooks with a maximum size of 12.
13, Running rigs only when using feeders and ledgers or bombs.
14, Fishing is only allowed from 7 a.m. until the Park’s streetlights turn on at nightfall.
15, No extreme consumption of alcohol on or around the fishing pegs

BAIT
Only the following baits are ALLOWED: natural carp pellets, natural carp pellet paste, maggots
(any colour), luncheon meat on the HOOK ONLY & not coloured, sweet corn (yellow only), worms,
bread (sinking only), castors, PVA. If it is not on the list above, it is not allowed.

The following are not allowed
1, No Additives to the bait clear or coloured.
2, The use of Luncheon meat for feeding, it is hook bait only.
3, No Floating Bait. (especially bread)
4, No Barbed hooks.
5, No Keep nets. (Unless special dispensation for matches, agreed by the Park)
6, No Wading or boat fishing.
7, No Ground baiting.
8, Fishing more than one rod is not allowed.
9, Media, without earphones.
10, Parking by the lake.
11, The throwing of any missile or the dumping of any form of refuse.
12, Behavior likely to cause hindrance or annoyance to fellow anglers.
13, No dogs.
14, No electronic bite alarms.
15, No braided line allowed
